We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our community! Power Properties has been honoured with the 2024 Calgary Residential Rental Association (CRRA) Community Service Award. This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in Calgary through various community initiatives.
Our Journey of Community Involvement
At Power Properties, we believe in the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. Our dedication goes beyond property management and real estate services; it's about enriching lives and fostering a sense of belonging.
Supporting Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta
One of our proudest partnerships is with Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta. For the past five years, we have fundraised donations from our clients, tenants, and fellow team members for the organization, with our company, Power Properties, matching every dollar. To date, we’ve been able to donate $30,000 directly to Habitat to aid in the construction of homes for low-income families. We are incredibly thankful to our clients and tenants, who have helped make this possible.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Alberta
In addition to Habitat for Humanity, Power Properties is proud to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alberta. For the past 19 years, we’ve had the opportunity to donate free office space to the organization, allowing them to focus their resources on the good work they do granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses. It's our way of helping to bring joy and hope to families during challenging times.
Building Community with Our Annual Stampede Breakfast
Lastly, we are thrilled to see that our annual Stampede Breakfast has become a cherished tradition. It’s more than just a morning of delicious pancakes, yogurt, and coffee; it's an opportunity to bring together tenants, clients, and community members. Power Properties donates all the food and event rentals, while collecting donations for the Calgary Food Bank from our local community, making it a celebration of community spirit and generosity. Next month, we look forward to hosting our 3rd Annual Breakfast on July 10th, 2024.
